Kami Hybrid Physiology: Kami Hybrids are like demigods, forbade to be but have existed in rarity and upon the times when Kami required vessels on Earthly planes. They infuse a human with godlike Chakra or Chi. By doing this they become evolved. Kami can inhabit the body but only willingly as the spirit of the human must allow it or create an offspring. Greater kami hybrids are yeilded through birth. Amatsu infused his line through dark Chakra or Chi, producing Black River Chi. This is unique to his line. The biology is bolstered by the immense pool of energy they are  allowed to access and becomes permanent in their genetic structure, normally a qaud-helix. Makiboshi is a different case, he has a five helix DNA strand. The tightly woven helixes allow his lineage with great strength, he can lift 25 metric tons with ease and no strain, his body is dense to match his great strength, however is not invulnerable. His healing is also quickened, granting him longevity because the entropy in his blood. He can heal minor lacerations within seconds, deeper lacerations in minutes, broken bones within a day or so and fore most his healing gives him immunity to Earthly plane diseases and poisens, his aging is retarded to the point he can exist in a perpetual state of longevity. Something other Kami scions can't say because he is eternal. His reflexes and dexterity are on pare to match, he exerted his agility, balance and grace doing feats normal humans train for decades to produce. His dexterity comes from his body to produce less toxins and work more effenciently than a normal human body, for instance he can exert himself for 72 hours without tiring, but he sleeps approximately four hours a day, to recharge and allow his third eye to gather strength. HIs intelligence is greater as he uses more of his mind than the commonality of humanity does, they use approximately 15% to 20%, where as he uses 70% of his mind to 100% when exerting spiritual powers. His sensory and perception are enhanced to superhuman levels, all five senses (taste, touch, hearing, smell and sight) even his sixthy sense of cosmic perception is augmented thoroughly.

 

Abstract Nature: There are four eternal forces, Death, Oblivion, Infinity and Eternity created to be the keepers of all the universes. Oblivion being thye second, perhaps third of the four Eternal forces is keeper of Enthropy and the stars. Makiboshi is Oblivion, therefore he is Eternal versus the long lived pantheon members. He can over rule Death, make Death his consort. His power stems from Oblivion and he is living Enthropy.

 

Sensory: Kami hybrids can see energy, and are aware of thing on a greater scope. Most Kami hybrid senses are beyond human peak. Depending on the Kami which inhabits them they have greater awareness, like Amatsu being the eldest of the Kami has superb supernatural and psychic perception. They are drawn to the supernatural, they can sense it magical or demonic, even that of higher planes.

 

Black Lightning: He can conjure mystical black lightning with ease, the energy is so quick and fierce it is known to stun even the densest opponents. Natural electrical energies can be summoned with relative ease. 

 

Sorcery: Amatsu as keeper of the Stars and Oblivion learn much of the universe and it’s universe. He could use sorcery and mysticism in ways other Kami could not. For instance he can absorb magic’s into his form and return them back to their source three fold stronger. He can summon and use spells of dark magicks forbade to be used by novice. He is a vast resource of esoteric and Japanese mysticism both light and dark.

 

Amaterasu: Flames heralded from Yomi itself or Hell dimensions. Makiboshi can effect and transport these flames, his happen to be blackish blue. These flames cannot be quenched by water, snuffed out by lack of oxygen and feed off of anything they touch. They can erode the materials they come in contact with as he can use this to create entrop through the heat and erode materials, such as he done with Hellyr's scythe during a skirmish in a Hell Summit. He can breath these flames and touch them without harm because he is part of Yomi and by that extent it is part of him. Amaterasu can be quelled and sent back by powerful and sage magical methods by powers greater than the caster or the caster himself can send them away. Natural fire can be summoned, however will be snuffed out or quenched by water. He is naturally inclined to Fire Affinity. He is immune to Hell Flame, it can't hurt him. Mortal flame can hurt him however.

 

Shadow Manipulation: Being a living shadow he can extert his measure to other shadows, produce darkness and control darkness around him. By exterting his will he can create shadow creatures, he is fond of shadow beasts personally. By proximity his shadows are cold, they are cold as the void of space and can freeze materials or beings upon contact. The natural form of Makiboshi is shadows and cold, so naturally he can use this to his greatest advantage and use them to traverse the myriad realms, teleporting short distances through the shadows of the universes he inhabits. He can breath intense cold and his touch should he wish it can be such as that. He commands the cold of space like he does employ shadows.

 

Mysticism: By observing the universe he can employ mysticism which is much different than his brand of Sorcery. He can use Kotodama, the use true name and power words to effectively aide him. He watched the humans of the mountains and learned Yamabushi, he can use that particular brand of mysticism because he understands the tenants of Buddhism, Taoism and Nature. Onmyōdō, Esoteric Buddhism is a mixture of science and the occult using the natural elements even supernatural ones. He has studied Reiki, the use of ones own chi or ambient chi to heal others. He can do this readily but is aprehensive because his dark nature often can erode good in others.

 

Spiritual: He can use astral and psionic energies to do a great many things. Such as capture and detain astral forms from the Astral plane itself. Communicate on the astral plane and even project portions of his being across the plane. He can traverse the realms by becoming an astral shadow and traversing the space between universes.

 

Black River Chi: The Art of the Black River Chi is unique to Amatsu Makiboshi's lineage. He can use chi regularly to do many of the same feats but it is weaker. His chi is naturally black like the shadows of his form. Amatsu can use a varience of Chi, by extending his spiritual energy he could intensify his strike, whether it be by bare hand or through a weapon. This is done by externally hardening the Chi to become denser. The chi can also hasten ones healing and health, extend healing to others and prolong ones life span. Kami hybrids are natural chi benders and manipulators. He can also steal chi from others and use it to his advantage, though he can't steal their powers, he has done this to demons in battle to assert his dominance in Yomi.

 

Kami Form: Every Kami has their truest form, which can’t exist in the mortal realms without a worthy vessel. Oustide this human host he can ascend to higher planes, in limited spurts he can form a hybrid of his true form and flesh. Makiboshi's form is terrible and feared, so he hides behind armor or a mask because he is unaccepted by his peers. His form is formless shadow matched and dotted with all the stars that will be or have dieded. He is often seen wearing an abstract crimson crown when he wishes to make a point in high celestial court. Once Izanagi questioned him about forging "God Weapons" capable of killing the divine, he pulled away the mask and the crimson eyes and crown against the lithe shadow form with claws and demonic features shown. The inquisition was ended when he simply did the act of revealing his true form. 

 

Weaknesses/Defects:- Despite being a Kami he can be killed, banished and affected through magic and high sorcery. His swords can wound and eventually absorb his power leaving him spent and trapped within his blades. He must abide by the sacred laws of the Kami, breaking them causes severity. Such as his honor, he is bound by it and his word. As Keeper of the Stars and Oblivion he is bound to keep balance at all cost. Because of the human hybrid nature, a Kami can’t exist outside the higher planes without a host. This limits their powers and are forced to obey the laws of balance and order. The host body can be repaired and fortified however is going to fail the Kami who wears the flesh at one point.Being as he left a shade of himself in the Japanese Underworld, the shade possesses 45% of his powers. The Kami could split their power, but the shade can become dominate if they attain a controlling portion of their power and become independent. The human form limits his ability access deeper magicks, deeper magicks require ritualistic means or tools while in human kami hybrid form.He is also bound by honor and his word, for him to state his loyalty he must abide by it for all time or till he is no more. His child like curiosity also gives others in edge as he is rather naive in mortal matters.
