Oblivion balances Eternity, as cosmic abstract beings they are forever rivals. There is only one who can hold and use Oblivion as finitely as Enthropy, Mikaboshi was a sliver of Oblivion and possesses the powers of Oblivion itself. By fusing aspects of Oblivion he can forge weapons like Grass Cutter, a sword known to kill those who are divine or immortal.

 

Oblivion has a relationship with Death, they are forever linked as they exist together. He can reverse death, heal the terminal and cursed through rituals. Oblivion and Death side on finality while Infinity and Eternity side on life. The four constants, Eternity, Death, Oblivion and Infinity share the responsibility of the greater balance. They embued slivers or avatars for which are forged from part of them.

 

As a sliver of Oblivion, Makiboshi can exist in places the Kami are forbade and can halt death if he chooses. He sees the bigger picture, and is nuetral in all things.
